our post-harvest operations in our state-of-the-art cultivation facility. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency as products move from harvest through drying, curing, trimming, packaging, and distribution. We are looking for a strong manager with deep knowledge of cannabis processing and a proven ability to manage teams and production workflows. Location & Hours:

  • This is an on-site position at our Ely, Nevada location at 30955 N. Alt, US-93, Ely, NV 89301 (Near intersection of US Rt 93 & US Alt Route 93). 
  • Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Harvest Management

  • Oversee the harvest process, ensuring plants are harvested at optimal times for quality.
  • Coordinate with the cultivation manager to schedule harvests in alignment with production goals.

Drying & Curing

  • Manage the drying and curing process to preserve cannabinoid and terpene profiles.
  • Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) to ensure proper drying and curing.

Shucking & Trimming

  • Lead and supervise the Finished Products team, including shucking (removal of stems) and trimming, ensuring product uniformity and quality.
  • Maintain trimming efficiency while minimizing product loss.
  • Manage and operate the Green Broz N-Line for automated trimming and sorting

Quality Control

  • Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout all stages of post-harvest processing.
  • Conduct regular product testing and inspections to ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations.
  • Collaborate with the compliance manager to ensure that all finished products are labeled, tracked, and stored according to regulatory standards.

Packaging & Labeling

  • Oversee the packaging process to ensure all products are packaged in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Ensure accuracy of labels, including product information, potency, and safety warnings.

Distribution & Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory tracking of finished products and coordinate distribution logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with sales and distribution teams to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Train, develop, and manage the Finished Products team members.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality at every stage.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership by setting clear expectations, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring accountability within the team.
  • Lead training initiatives on best practices in post-harvest processing, packaging, and quality assurance.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all post-harvest activities, including batch records, product tracking, and compliance documents.
  • Provide reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in post-harvest cannabis processing.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and overseeing multiple stages of production.
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis harvest, drying, curing, trimming, and packaging processes.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis compliance regulations and product safety requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and standard office software.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain an Agent Card
Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors
Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. 
Standing/Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a greenhouse environment. 
Repetitive Motion: Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to handle equipment. 
Manual Dexterity: Proficient hand-eye coordination for tasks such as cloning, trellising, and transplanting. 
Work Environment: Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of greenhouse environments. 
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
