Maintenance Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? True Harmony Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the performance and upkeep of our equipment and systems in our cannabis facilities and large-scale, state-of-the-art greenhouse.
In this role, you’ll work under limited supervision to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical components. From performing installations and test runs to supporting operations during peak seasons, you'll play a vital role in performing maintenance tasks to support facility operations at our 250,000 sq. ft. cannabis greenhouse facilities and onsite housing.

Schedule: The schedule is Monday-Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm. Some holidays required.

- Survey and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with safety standards.
- Run diagnostics, adjust, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of facility systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Assist with repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems as directed.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
- Support landscaping and irrigation system maintenance.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Record maintenance activities and report issues promptly.
- Respond to emergency repair needs as assigned.
- Attend training sessions as needed.
- May occasionally be required to be on call due to special circumstances or departmental needs. (natural disasters, or major emergency incidents)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- May be required to help with general field operations at peak season or slow mechanical periods throughout the year
- Meets with management regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as necessary
- Communicates with the management team to order replacement parts for machines
Education & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary licenses to work in the cannabis industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Knowledge of computers, email and mobile apps
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field
- Welding experience
- Harvest machinery experience
- Plumbing experience
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Commercial Driver's License
Work Environment
- Indoor production/warehouse setting
- Allergens include:
- Cannabis Plant Material & Derivatives: Which may cause allergic reactions such as skin irritation, respiratory symptoms, or eye irritation
- Dust & Particulate Matter: Exposure to plant dust, airborne particles, and packaging materials during handling and fulfillment processes
- Packaging Materials: Contact with plastics, adhesives, inks, and labeling materials that may cause sensitivities in some individuals
- Cleaning & Sanitation Agents
- GMP-aligned environment requiring cleanliness and organization
- Moderate noise levels and production-driven pace
- PPE may be required depending on task
