About the Role 

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? True Harmony Company is seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the performance and upkeep of our equipment and systems in our cannabis facilities and large-scale, state-of-the-art greenhouse.

In this role, you’ll work under limited supervision to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical components. From performing installations and test runs to supporting operations during peak seasons, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities and greenhouse equipment operate safely and efficiently. Location: This is a full-time, onsite position at our farm in Ely, Nevada. 
Schedule: Our schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with occasional holidays/weekends as needed.

Core Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Survey and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with safety standards. 
  • Run diagnostics, adjust, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment. 
  • Install and replace filters and inspect filtration systems 
  • Perform installations and fabrications when necessary 
  • Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling, as necessary 
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts and reports to the manager 
  • Identifies and repairs the causes of unexpected breakdowns of equipment 
  • Prepares reports documenting work performed and inputs data in software. 
  • Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies regularly. 
  • Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance inspections or repairs and services on all required equipment 
  • Makes any necessary modifications to implement and performs test runs of equipment prior to use 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
Supportive Functions 
  • May be required to help with general field operations at peak season or slow mechanical periods throughout the year 
  • Meets with management regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as necessary 
  • Communicates with the management team to order replacement parts for machines 

Requirements  
Education & Experience  
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary licenses to work in the cannabis industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed  
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team  
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician 
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems 
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods 
  • Experience with welding and fabrication 
  • Knowledge of computers, email and mobile apps 
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail 
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds 
Nice to Haves 
  • Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field  
  • Welding experience 
  • Harvest machinery experience 
  • Plumbing experience 
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) 
  • Commercial Driver's License 
Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors:
Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. 
Standing/Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a greenhouse environment. 
Repetitive Motion: Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to handle plants and equipment. 
Manual Dexterity: Proficient hand-eye coordination for tasks such as cloning, trellising, and transplanting. 
Work Environment: Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of greenhouse environments. 
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
