About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to operate our employee shuttle bus (up to 39 passengers) between Ely and our farm location, with one scheduled stop in McGill. The shuttle departs Ely at 5:40 a.m. daily to arrive onsite by 7:00 a.m. and returns at 3:30 p.m. This full-time role plays a key part in ensuring our team arrives to work safely and on time.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 39-passenger shuttle bus to transport employees to and from the farm
- Follow scheduled routes and maintain an accurate time and passenger log
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure passenger safety and adherence to all transportation rules
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the shuttle bus
- Communicate clearly with passengers and management as needed
- Maintain inventory on bus for safety equipment
- Report any delays, mechanical issues, or incidents promptly
- Must be at least 25 years old (required for insurance purposes)
- Possess a valid Nevada Class C or Class A or B with a Passenger Endorsement
- Clean driving record (no DUI history)
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain required cannabis industry credentials
- Pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
- Familiar with GPS systems and smartphone apps
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays
- Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., luggage or equipment)
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving
- Vision and Hearing: Must have adequate vision and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) to safely operate a vehicle and respond to road conditions and signals
- Mobility: Ability to enter and exit the shuttle bus repeatedly throughout the day
- Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand-eye coordination and motor skills to operate vehicle controls
- Environment: Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including early mornings and rural driving conditions
- Safety: Must adhere to all company safety policies and wear any personal protective equipment (PPE) required for vehicle inspection or emergency scenarios
